Team 32 & 33 have bought the 2 mighty fine cars below.

The first (Team 33) 'The Black Pearl Granny' will provide our first theme which is apparently to be turned into a pirate ship...She's covered a fair few clocks round the Earth and has a grunting exhaust at the moment but all should come good in the end.

The 2nd (Team 32) is a lovely Swedish number - managed to pick her up from eBay from a retired old Lancastrian gent with only 69k on the clock and in near mint condition - feeling a bit sad already that she will be going to a watery grave - no theme on this one as yet although a nice white stripe up the side would make a lovely Starsky & Hutch tribute...

Still glossing as they were only picked up this month, and a local radio station is covering our trip, so are glossing it with some advertising no doubt in advance - www.quantum-monkey.co.uk/crumball08.html will be the updated site once we have started coding (now that we have the cars!)

Managed to finally update the site now, with some more recent piccies of ths cars. Awaiting some more on the Granny front with the pirate theme, but the Police Saab is near completion, just attaching the flashing lights and the megaphone...

Local radio station dropped out due to lack of funding at their end, hence the now apparent lack of sponsors... Evil or Very Mad

Well here's a peek at the Black Pearl as of today. I took it to work as it's been stood a month and needed to stretch it's legs.
Left foot braking most of the way to keep from stalling (slight idle problem when cold) but was fine on the way home.

Still not the finished product though, got some special additions going on tomorrow...
